The Help

So this movie is based on a bestselling book about someone writing a bestselling book.

This isn't usually my kind of thing but I figured I would give it a shot. It was a little more serious than I thought it would be and I had to ask my wife at one point if it were a true story because of how serious it got. I has moments of light heartiness but not as many as you would think. All the actors did a great job but I felt that Emma Stone who seems to be one of the main stars gets sorta lost and forgotten towards the end. The movie felt a little long to me too.

But overall I was happy that I got to see it in theaters when people are talking about it and I do think it will be popping up again around Oscar time.
