I am a big Kevin Smith fan seeing most of his early movies in the theater. I even have a friend that was an extra in Jersey Girl. I love the Clerks movies, Chasing Amy his stand up videos, most of the earlier stuff. I wasn't a huge fan of Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Cop Out was just bad. Red State feels more like he's lashing out at the religious groups that picket ted his movie Dogma and paint all these people as extremist than weave and interesting tale of terror. He combines the events of Waco Texas with God hates Gays Group and that's the movie.
I feel as if his days of making fun and interesting movies may be behind him now.
